Table Shuffleboard Climatic Adjusters
Table Shuffleboard Climatic Adjusters
Climatic Adjusters
Climatic adjusters allow for climate changes and keep the play surface from warping. Because the playfield of a shuffleboard table is wood, it will swell a little in humid weather and contract slightly in drier conditions. This can affect the trueness of the playfield. The "climatic" adjusters will compensate for those natural occurrences.

How many adjusters do I need and where are they installed?
12', 14' and 16' tables should allow for 4 adjusters. 18' and longer tables should allow for 6 adjusters.
The positioning is generally about 12 inches from the end of the playing surface on each end. You will need a cutout of 5 inches x 18 inches (2 inches less than your 20 inch play surface) for the adjusters. Most customers make the cutout 8 inches instead of 5 inches to allow the play surface easier installation. Working toward the middle of each table, the remaining adjusters should be equally spaced between adjusters (Typically 3' to 4' apart).
